A specialist podcast production agency

We shoot, edit, and package podcasts for founders, brands, and media professionals across the UK. Post-production led, video-first, priced per project.

What we mean by specialist

Most agencies that produce podcasts also produce everything else. Podcasts sit alongside brand films, social campaigns, and event coverage, and the podcast work gets whichever editor is free that week.

We only do podcasts. That is the whole business. It means the workflow is built for this format rather than adapted to it, and it means the person cutting your episode has cut hundreds of others.

Post-production is the core of it

Most of our clients already record. They have the guests, the format, and the calendar. What they do not have is the six to ten hours per episode that skilled post-production takes, week after week, without the schedule slipping.

So the default engagement is simple. You send the recording. We send back a finished episode, ready to upload. If you want the recording captured as well, we come to you, but the production is the product and the shoot is the add-on.

The full breakdown of what happens to your files is on the podcast editing services page.

Video-first, because that is where the audience is

Video is no longer the premium version of a podcast. It is the format B2B audiences use to find shows in the first place, and an audio-only episode is now an active choice against being discovered.

Every episode we produce is cut as a video episode by default: multicam edit, colour grade, thumbnail, trailer. Clips come out of the same session rather than being quoted as an upgrade afterwards. We wrote up the case in full in why your business podcast should be video-first.

There is no retainer. We charge for the work you commission, which means a quiet quarter costs you nothing.

Production at scale

Volume is a production problem before it is a creative one. We have run 50 episodes across two days at IdeaFest, and we produce ongoing series for clients who publish weekly without a gap.

Recent work includes Founder Stories, Conservation Chronicles for Lancashire Wildlife Trust, and Eat Sleep Ride. You can see the work here.

What we do not do

  • Hosting and distribution.
  • Guest booking and research.
  • Platform and channel management.
  • Brand strategy and positioning. That conversation happens at kevaltanna.com.

We do production. Everything else, we know where to send you.

Where we work

Post-production is handled remotely, so location makes no difference to that side of it. Shoot days run anywhere in the UK, with mileage charged on top for locations outside Hertfordshire.

Common questions

How much does it cost to hire a podcast production agency?

Our post-production is £400 per episode and a shoot day is £800, both excluding VAT. A full production day capturing four episodes plus post-production on all four comes to £2,400.

Most UK agencies quote monthly retainers instead, which makes proposals hard to compare. We break down what the wider market charges in our guide to UK video podcast production costs.

What does a podcast production agency actually do?

It varies widely, which is why quotes are hard to compare. We do production: shooting where needed, editing, grading, packaging, and repurposing. We do not do hosting, distribution, guest booking, or channel management, and we will tell you where to go for those instead of pretending otherwise.

Do you work with clients across the UK?

Yes. Post-production is handled remotely, so location makes no difference. Shoot days run anywhere in the UK, with mileage charged on top for locations outside Hertfordshire.

Do you require a monthly retainer?

No. We charge per project, per episode, and per day. There is no monthly minimum and no lock-in.

How do I tell whether an agency is genuinely video-native?

Look at the deliverable list. An audio-first agency treats video as an add-on and prices it as an upgrade. A video-native one quotes the multicam edit, grade, thumbnail, and clips as standard, because that is the job rather than an extra.

There is a fuller checklist in what to look for when hiring a production partner.

How many episodes can you produce at once?

A single shoot day typically delivers four to eight interviews depending on format. We have run larger: 50 episodes captured across two days at IdeaFest.
